It may have been a very damp day but that did not stop Year 5 taking a trip to Warnham Nature Reserve to attend a writing workshop. During this trip the children were able to develop their observation skills and their ability to describe observations using language effectively and creatively to write some amazing haiku poems.

Mrs Parrott and Mrs Lloyd would also like to say a massive thank you to the children for their behaviour and attitude on the day. We even received this glowing review from Warnham Nature Reserve: ‘We wanted to compliment you on the standard or behaviour and positive attitude of the year group. They embraced the day and were consistently polite and interested and interesting. They are a credit to you and to the school. Please pass on our thanks to the children and their parents.’

Well done Darwin and Brunel!
