Year 3/4 had a fantastic day in London visiting the Science Museum. The children were all very excited to be travelling by train to London and behaved beautifully whilst on our journey (we were even stopped by some fellow passengers who commented on their behaviour). Once at the museum we had the chance to get hands-on with a whole range of science activities in their Wonderlab. Lunch followed and then it was time to tour the rest of the museum to see what inventions we could spot. Highlights were being able to see the Enigma machine, the machine Tim Berners-Lee designed the internet on, the space exhibition and the aeroplanes. One child was heard to say “It was the best day ever!” We tired them out and many even had a little nap on the train home! Thank you to everyone who helped on the trip.
