Safer Internet Day is always a great reminder of the importance of teaching the children how to be responsible when using the internet. To inspire a conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively, we were lucky enough to have ‘Perform for Schools’ in to give the children a fun and engaging workshop on internet safety.

“It was really fun acting out the ways of staying safe online and I really enjoyed the online safety rap!”

To celebrate ‘Safer Internet Day’ on Tuesday 4th February, we had an assembly. The children gave very clear and mature answers, so we would really encourage you to keep having regular open and honest conversations about what to do should anything worry them online and keep up to date with what they are up to on the internet, to ensure it is age appropriate.
